EUROPEAN ALLURE - VANCOUVER
Inspired by French Colonial architecture, the exterior of this project features composite mouldings by Patterson Whittaker and natural stone with a flamed finish. As the rear yard was quite steep, we used Allan block in a terraced style to create planters for the home owners as they are avid gardeners. The construction features for this project include insulated concrete forms (ICF's) by Nudura. Above grade wall assemblies were built by using structurally insulated panels (SIPs) by West Eco Panels to provide an airtight, high performance home. The interior was finished with many of custom details which include an engineered hardwood floor inlay with integrated heating registers, wainscoting, built-ins, and a staircase hand built in hickory.
