STRATHCONA REVIVAL - VANCOUVER
This 1908 home in Strathcona, once served as one of the many bocce courts in Vancouver's Little Italy. It was gifted to our clients by their late father and after much deliberation they decided to renovate, instead of build new. As this was their childhood home growing up, special care was taken to preserve original details such as the double pocket doors, old growth fir floors, and the staircase which was painstakingly sanded and re-painted. We even installed an original air vent as a decorative feature! Our client's main goal was to revamp the floor plan to be more functional. They also wanted to update the interior finishes to suit their style, while maintaining the home's character.
